Top 6 ways to change how you feel

Sounds tough! Here are a few simple ways.

1 Listen to your favourite music. Research supports this.
2 Just do it. Get on with whatever it is that you’ve been putting off.

3 Spend time with a friend. A problem shared is a problem halved.
4 Get some exercise. Even light exercise releases those feel good endorphins.
5 Be in the moment. When was the last time you looked at the sky and admired its natural beauty. Take time to notice what’s around you.
6 Focus on what you have rather than what you have not.

  1. Great advice Susan, especially your second point. When I get in a rut with procrastination I usually find self-hypnosis really useful to get myself motivated again. My other tip is to work out at which point in the day you are at your best and save up the worst thing on your to do list until this point and then get it done as quickly as possible. I highly recommend following that up with a celebratory chocolate break, but maybe that’s just me!!
